Seat Cushion
The Seat cushions are produced in the southern part of Persia. They are made from Kelim rugs that are between 20 and 50 years old. The Kelims used for the seat cushions are hand woven rugs crafted with a special weaving technique, which gives the rugs a thinner, felt-like quality. The Seat cushions are naturally dyed and no two cushion covers are alike.
Kilim (Kelim, Gilim, Gelim): The Kilim rug is a woven rug, with no knotted buckles and pile, performed by simply entangling warp and weft threads. Mainly wool.
